Cost:      ** ONLL is going back to selling candy instead of tickets**

• 9-12 yr old - $60 and sell 2 boxes of candy per player  -or-  $100 buyout (sell no candy) per player
• 7-8 yr old - $60 and sell 1 box of candy per player  -or-  $80 buyout (sell no candy) per player

          **Candy money will be turned in to your coach.

Dates:

• First Sign-up - Saturday, January 30, 2010; 8:30am - 2:00pm, at the Knights of Columbus 401 W. Main Street
• Second Sign-up - Thursday, February 18, 2010; 6:00pm - 8:30pm, at the Knights of Columbus 401 W. Main Street
•   Only cash or check accepted at in-person sign ups.
  

What age level or league will my child register to play?

• 7-8 yr old league - Participant born on or between dates of May 1, 2001 and April 30, 2003.
• 9-10 yr old league - Participant born on or between dates of May 1, 1999 and April 30, 2001.
• 11-12 yr old league - Participant born on or between dates of May 1, 1997 and April 30, 1999.
  

            Tryouts / Last Chance Sign-Ups / Other Information

• Tryouts will be held March 7, 2010 at the Marquette High School Gymnasium.
• Tryout Times
• 1:00 - 2:00    11-12 yr old
• 2:00 - 3:15     9-10 yr old
• 3:15 - 4:15     7-8  yr old
• Players need to bring their glove, gym shoes, and clothes they can run and move comfortably in.
• Tryouts are for any player new to the age level.  A player that is not moving up to the next age group and will play at the same age level as last year does not need to try out.  Also, a player moving up to an older sibling's age group does not need to try out and will automatically be placed on the team of the older sibling.
• Any player new to ONLL or player that is moving up to the next age level does need to try out.
• The player draft will be held the night of tryouts.  Your coach will be in contact with you to let you know what team you are on.
• For anyone still needing to sign up, last chance sign-ups will be held before tryouts at the Marquette Gym.  Please show up 15 minutes before your child's scheduled time to try out.  Cash or check accepted.

        OTTAWA NATIONAL (SOUTHSIDE) LITTLE LEAGUE  2010 SIGN UP INFORMATION

BAT INFORMATION

• Before you buy a bat, make sure you are aware of the Little League rule regarding non-wood bats.  Ottawa National Little League will follow this rule.
• Little League (11-12 year old) and below; it shall not be more than thirty-three (33) inches in length nor more than two and one-quarter (2 1/4) inches in diameter.  Non-wood bats shall be printed with a bpf (bat performance factor) of 1.15 or less.

ONLL encourages all eligible players to participate in Little League baseball.  If you are currently experiencing financial troubles and concerned about the sign up fee, please call one of the numbers below.  We want your child to play baseball and will do what we can to assist you.
